Love at first sight

Love at first sight , that's the best way to describe my feelings towards Bonaire when in 1995 my family and I first set foot ashore on this splendid, sun-drenched Island in the Carribbean. Since then, I have been back many times and I can assure you that the love for the island is still there. This love has been growing stronger and stronger on knowing the island and its friendly locals better and better. Meanwhile I see Bonaire as my second home!

After returning from a more than fantastic holiday in 1995 two things were clear to me: my family and I would return many more times and I wanted to invest in recreational property in Bonaire, a field in which I have been active for quite some time. As you will have understood by now, our wish to return more often to Bonaire has been fulfilled. We hope being able to enjoy this terrific island for many years to come. In order to be perfectly clear I want you to know this: do not expect an energetic night-life. If that is (very) important to you during the holidays, I will have to disappoint you. Because in that case Bonaire is not suitable for you at all.
However, if you like diving, snorkeling, wind-surfing, sailing and other kinds of aquatic sports or mountain-biking, if you appreciate your peace and quiet, and if everything that nature offers is your soft spot (and last but not least: if you are a sun-worshipper) well, then I would say: what would stop you from booking this very day?
Choosing for Bonaire means being sure of a more than great vacation. Just one warning: don't fall in love as I did! Because from what you have read so far, you will have understood what that means.
